Overview

Responsibilities
  • Hold strategic responsibility for the portfolio of taught degrees and short programmes within the Department.
  • Develop and maintain an operational teaching strategy to deliver a world-class teaching and programme portfolio.
  • Review and develop efficient and effective processes to support teaching and learning, and develop and improve the Department\'s academic workload model.
  • Ensure delivery of a consistent and highly professional student experience across programmes/courses; lead on improvements to the Department\'s service provision to students.
  • Lead the Programmes team and manage the Programmes Manager; ensure smooth, efficient and timely administration and support of teaching with high standards of student experience and service delivery.
  • Work independently and on initiative in a complex and demanding environment; bring substantial relevant HE administrative experience and extensive team management experience.
  • Plan and deliver new initiatives that positively impact the delivery of teaching for students and academic staff; take initiative on new projects with a solution-focused attitude and influence decision making.
