Job summary

Waystone is seeking a strategic Head of Product Lifecycle to drive data-driven governance across WMUK, aligning with FCA regulations and best practice. You will lead Value Assessment activities, annual fund reviews, and oversee downstream data collection to sustain high regulatory standards.

You will chair governance forums, partner with senior management, Compliance, Investment Risk and external stakeholders such as depositaries and investment managers, and embed the product governance

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of ACD business and Waystone Group structure.
• Experience conducting Value Assessment reviews and producing Value Assessment statements.
• Strong product governance/management experience in asset management.
• Knowledge of Product Governance regulatory requirements and best practice.
• Understanding of investment products and the regulatory environment for authorised funds (UCITS, AIFMD, COBS, COLL, PROD).
• Ability to prioritise, communicate complex messages, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate WMUK’s product lifecycle activities and ensure data collection meets standards.
• Chair governance forums and committees; liaise with Compliance to meet FCA regulations.
• Manage processes, policies and procedures across product governance.
• Partner with senior management and key departments to escalate issues and optimise resource use.
• Assist in design and launch of new products and identify efficiency improvements.
• Liaise with external stakeholders including FCA, depositaries, external legal firms and delegated investment managers.
• Support the business with product governance queries across the lifecycle.
• Embed product governance elements into BAU activities.
• Collaborate with ACD/RFS management on operational or special projects.
