Job summary

St. James's Place in Cirencester (hybrid) seeks a Group Products governance lead to oversee governance and risk across manufactured wrapper products.

You will develop and refine the product governance framework to ensure compliant, client-focused outcomes and sustainable commercial performance. The role influences governance decisions across multiple areas, ensuring products are well-governed throughout their lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a regulated Financial Services environment with governance, risk and regulatory understanding.
• Experience coordinating complex governance activities with multiple stakeholders, ensuring actions and outcomes are delivered.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual product review process for manufactured wrapper products, providing independent challenge and recommendations.
• Maintain and enhance the Group-wide Product Policy governance framework and controls.
• Produce Consumer Duty outcome assessments for manufactured wrapper products.
• Coordinate with Governance Advisory Arrangement for value for money assessments.
• Manage risk reporting, maintain risk and control register, and complete RCSA processes.
• Progress audit and compliance monitoring actions, driving remediation where needed.
• Maintain divisional business continuity plans and test coordination.
