Head of Product Design

I'm looking for a Design Leader to join a Fintech company that is a high-growth, product-led business with a strong customer base and bold ambitions to scale.

The design function is growing, and this is an opportunity for someone excited about shaping product experiences and building a world-class design culture from the ground up.

Your role

• Lead and develop a small team of Product Designers (currently 2), while staying close to the work yourself
• Partner closely with a visionary CPO who champions design to bring the product vision to life
• Take ownership of design operations, rituals, and culture, helping shape how design is perceived and practiced across the business
• Lay the foundations for future scaling — this role is perfect for someone who enjoys building for what’s next

You’ll be a great fit if you

• Have management experience, with previous leadership of Product Design teams managing 3+ designers
• Love balancing hands-on design work with coaching and mentoring
• Are comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments (preferably with startup or scale-up experience)
• Think strategically about design but also enjoy rolling up your sleeves
• If you have experience in Finance, Mobile First environments, or Gaming, this could be a good fit

Location: London-based, 3 days a week in the office

Salary: £110k - £120k, depending on experience
