The Job
The Design team focuses on ensuring our users have the best experience on our app. They are data-informed researchers, innovators, content and design experts, overseeing the execution and validation of our platform and its features. As a Lead Product Designer at Flo, you'll lead and mentor a team of talented designers, working closely with cross-functional teams to define strategy, guide design direction, and foster a collaborative team culture.
Your Experience
Must have:
- Strong (usually 12+ years) experience as a designer and at least 3 years in team management.
- A portfolio showcasing user-centered designs for mobile platforms and prototypes within complex projects.
- Ability to lead projects from ideation to launch, impacting users and business metrics.
- Deep understanding of user experience, interaction, and visual design, with attention to detail.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience in mentorship and fostering a positive team environment.
- Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and developing designers.
- Passion for continuous learning, collaboration, and building strong partnerships.
- Knowledge of Design Systems and A11Y standards.
- Proficiency in Figma and common design tools.
Nice to have:
- Experience in healthcare.
- Experience in a product-first tech environment.
Responsibilities:
As a Lead Product Designer (60%):
- Oversee key design projects, ensuring alignment with goals and customer needs.
- Be hands-on when needed, managing resources effectively.
- Ensure high standards for all design work.
- Mentor designers and support their growth.
- Help define product vision and strategy.
- Coordinate design efforts and ensure visibility through documentation and tools.
- Follow best practices and accessibility guidelines.
- Present work in review sessions.
- Collaborate with other design leads on tooling, standards, and career development.
- Foster a collaborative and respectful team culture.
As a People Manager (40%):
- Mentor and coach designers.
- Support career development and growth.
- Manage key HR processes and onboarding.
Salary Range:
Lithuania - Starting from €7900 gross/month
GBP Range: £113,700—£130,000 per year (may vary based on skills and experience)
