Job summary

PA Media Group Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead and transform our Group procurement function from its Leeds base. Reporting to the CFO and leading a team of six, you will move procurement toward a proactive business-partnering model that drives measurable value.

You will develop our Group procurement strategy, strengthen the team and build trusted relationships with senior leaders across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant procurement and commercial leadership experience.
• Track record of transforming a procurement function.
• Strong technology procurement experience and credibility with Technology leaders.
• Evidence of delivering measurable commercial value via sourcing & negotiation.
• Strong commercial judgement and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience leading and developing a high-performing procurement team.
• Understanding of end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Procurement team as a credible business partner.
• Develop and deliver a Group-wide procurement strategy.
• Partner with senior leaders on spend and supplier decisions.
• Lead strategic procurement across key spend areas including technology.
• Strengthen supplier relationship and contract management.
• Improve visibility and control of third-party spend and risks.
• Own the end-to-end global Procure-to-Pay process, driving simplification and automation.
• Build cross-functional relationships across Procurement, Finance and Technology.
• Oversee corporate insurance renewal and travel arrangements.
