Head of Procurement & Supply Management

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust procurement and supply management strategy, leading the procurement and supply management functions for the L&G Account and the wider IAC Commercial Sector portfolio to ensure high supply chain performance, value for money, and strong ESG credentials.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facilities management, procurement, strategic thinking, and a proven track record of achieving savings while maintaining service quality.

How will you be the change?

Every role is vital in providing peace of mind to our customers and driving our business forward. As Head of Procurement & Supply Management, you will:

1. Strategy & Collaboration
2. Develop procurement strategies to drive value, performance, and ESG initiatives within the account and sector.
3. Collaborate with client, account, and group teams to leverage best practices.
4. Lead strategic development programs and manage procurement resources.
5. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in procurement practices.
6. Work with finance and operations to meet budgetary and savings goals.
7. Support business development efforts.

2. Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control processes.
3. Ensure savings are realized and demonstrate value across the supply chain.
4. Conduct procurement activities like tendering and negotiations.

2. Develop KPIs and monitor supply partner performance.
3. Manage performance issues and implement improvement plans.
4. Coach supply partners for high performance and satisfaction.

1. Risk Management
2. Identify and mitigate procurement risks, ensuring compliance with laws and standards.

What does it take?

If you're ready to lead our procurement initiatives, you'll need:

• A degree, preferably a Master’s, in a related field.
• MCIPS qualification or commitment to achieve it within 12 months.
• Extensive procurement and supply management experience.
• Proven experience managing large-scale spend and leading teams.
• Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Working arrangements

We promote flexible and remote working where possible. The role requires working from home Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with an hour for lunch.
