As Head of Procurement and Contracts, you will play a key role in our ongoing success by working with stakeholders to develop procurement strategies, manage key contracts, and foster supplier relationships. You will also empower procurement team members to excel and achieve more together.

We welcome applications for full-time or flexible working arrangements, including a 32.5-hour week, term-time only plus 4 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Shape and implement procurement category management strategies
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver value and meet operational needs
  3. Guide, support, and train staff involved in purchasing activities
  4. Develop and monitor the contract management database, improve procurement practices, and uphold governance standards
  5. Lead and develop the central procurement team
Candidate Profile
  • MCIPS qualified
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management in large organizations
  • Leadership experience in procurement and contracts
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder confidence
  • Proven success in managing contracts and leading tenders
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile
  • Team-oriented and enthusiastic
