Job summary

Office Angels is seeking a Head of Practice Standards & Compliance to lead the Practice Standards Team across seven UK offices. You will drive IMS alignment, ensure ISO standards are met, and coordinate audits and supplier approvals.

This senior role requires strategic oversight and strong stakeholder engagement. You will mentor Bid and Marketing teams, maintain quality documentation, and develop the intranet, including SharePoint, to support governance and continuous improvement across the

Qualifications

  • Experience leading and managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety frameworks.
  • Experience managing ISO accreditations and compliance processes.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Administer and develop the company intranet using Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Manage accreditation and certification renewals, including Constructionline and RIBA memberships.
  • Monitor, track and report on social value initiatives and contributions.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and best practice throughout the organisation.

Head of Practice Standards & Compliance

Location: Kettering | Full-Time, Permanent

Are you a proactive leader with a passion for quality, compliance, and continuous improvement? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing national practice as part of the Shared Services Senior Management Team, where you'll play a key role in shaping business operations while ensuring the highest standards of quality, environmental management, and health & safety are maintained across the organisation.

Working closely with senior leadership and supporting teams across seven UK offices, you'll lead the Practice Standards Team, oversee crucial compliance frameworks, and drive initiatives that support the continued success and growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and develop the Practice Standards Team.

What We're Looking For

you’ll be a confident and influential leader with excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. you’ll enjoy working collaboratively across departments and be passionate about maintaining high standards across all areas of the business.

Essential:
  • Previous experience leading and managing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
  • Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety frameworks.
  • Experience managing ISO accreditations and compliance processes.
  • Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office 365 skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Educated to Level 3 (A-Level or equivalent).
Desirable
  • Experience using Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Previous responsibility for industry accreditations and certification frameworks.
  • Experience within architecture, engineering, consultancy, or professional services environments.
  • Knowledge of Constructionline, RIBA, or similar accreditation schemes.
