Responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments.
  • Monitor team performance and skills development.
  • Implement existing QA processes and seek improvements.
  • Conduct audits and drive corrective actions.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement existing QA processes across operational workflows and seek improvements where necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular internal audits and drive corrective actions.
  • Quality Assurance: Be an advocate for maintaining quality and standards across our service delivery in all forms of communication and technical output.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist with maintaining ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 accreditation.

Job description

LOCATION: Office based at 5B Churchill Way, Chapeltown, Sheffield S35 2PY

HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the role

Hickton Quality Control is the UK’s largest provider of Clerk of Works services and we are looking for an experienced candidate to manage our head office team whilst overseeing quality assurance across business operations. Based within our Head Office in South Yorkshire, this role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Office Management
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, facilities, and administrative support.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between departments and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Manage, support and provide an escalation point where appropriate for the head office team.
  • Monitor team performance, capacity planning, and skills development.
  • Support HR processes including onboarding and training coordination.
Quality Assurance
  • Implement existing QA processes across operational workflows and seek improvements where necessary.
  • Conduct regular internal audits and drive corrective actions.
  • Be an advocate for maintaining quality and standards across our service delivery in all forms of communication and technical output.
  • Assist with maintaining ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 accreditation.
