Job summary

Church of England All-Through School in Gravesend is seeking an outstanding PE leader to head our PE team and drive a high-quality programme for pupils aged 4–18. You will lead teaching and learning, support staff development and contribute to whole-school improvement with a passion for sport and wellbeing.

The role involves strategic leadership, collaboration across key stages, and developing a thriving extracurricular sports offer, aligned with our values and Aiming for excellence.

We are delighted to offer a very exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher and leader to lead our PE team in our over-subscribed, successful and inclusive Church of England All-Through School.

The school has an existing reputation for high-quality education with a relentless focus upon high expectations and aspirations, physical education plays a key role in this, and in developing a wide range of personal skills and character growth opportunities for pupils aged between 4 - 18 years old.

The school currently offers pupils the opportunity to continue to study sport and PE into KS4 and KS5 through our BTEC programme. We offer netball, basketball, rowing, athletics, football and rugby to a good standard within our extra-curricular offer and are keen to develop cricket for boys and girls and girls' rugby in particular to complement this offer.
