Job summary

A well-established accountancy firm is seeking an experienced Management Accountant / Outsourcing Manager to work with a diverse portfolio. The role involves management accounting, financial reporting, and client advisory support, offering progression to department leadership. Candidates should have experience in management accounts, bookkeeping, and be proficient with Xero. Hybrid working is available, and a competitive salary up to £55,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Strong management accounts and bookkeeping experience within a practice or outsourcing environment.
• Confident use of Xero and related cloud accounting tools.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and prepare management accounts for a diverse portfolio of SME clients.
• Review bookkeeping and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Support start‑up and scale‑up clients within the high‑tech and biotech sectors.
