Job summary

Runway East is seeking a Head of Operations for the South West to own 3 sites across Bristol and Bath, manage 10 staff, and lead the member experience with full P&L responsibility. You will report to the COO and sit on the management team, influencing company decisions beyond the region.

The right candidate thrives on ownership, raises energy, and builds a scalable, service-first culture. This role requires hands-on leadership across multiple sites, with flexibility to travel within the region

Qualifications

• Experience leading managers in multi-site service businesses (hospitality, leisure, workspace, retail or similar).
• Ability to implement standards and drive a service-first culture across multiple locations.
• Strong commercial sense with P&L and occupancy management awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the South West General Managers and a ~10-person team across 3 sites.
• Build the regional bench through recruitment and coaching of future GMs.
• Own regional standards and member experience across all sites.
• Own the regional P&L and EBITDA, drive occupancy and profitability.
• Ensure health, safety, compliance and risk management across sites.
• Build systems and processes to support a service-first culture in the region.
• Be escalation point for issues and take decisive, root-cause actions.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape company-wide ops strategy and expansion.
