Job summary

Jayne Peirce Travel Recruitment is supporting a young luxury travel DMC in recruiting a Head of Operations. The role is home-based with optional hybrid collaboration from the London office.

You will own trip confirmations end-to-end, build and standardise operating procedures, manage supplier relationships and work closely with the founders as the team grows. Requires 3+ years in luxury travel ops, DMC or tour operator, and strong process skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations within luxury travel, a DMC or tour operator.
• DMC background a real bonus; strong tour operating experience equally welcome.
• Experience building or improving processes.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written communication, warm and friendly in tone.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own trip confirmations end-to-end, coordinating amendments and cancellations across hotels, guides, chauffeurs and other suppliers.
• Build and standardise operating procedures, checklists and handover documentation.
• Quality-check bookings, setting the bar for accuracy and tone.
• Manage supplier relationships, keeping communication warm and prompt.
• Partner with the founders on day-to-day operations as the team grows.
