Job summary

Jayne Peirce Travel Recruitment represents a client in luxury travel seeking a Head of Operations with a track record in operations leadership within a DMC or tour operator. The role is home-based with optional London office collaboration, offering hybrid flexibility for a fast-growing luxury travel DMC.

You will build processes, manage complex bookings and supplier relationships, and partner with founders to scale day-to-day operations as the team expands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in operations within luxury travel, a DMC or tour operator.
• DMC background is a bonus; strong tour operating experience welcome.
• Experience building or improving processes.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent written communication, warm and friendly tone.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own trip confirmations end-to-end, coordinating amendments and cancellations across hotels, guides, chauffeurs and other suppliers.
• Build and standardise operating procedures, checklists and handover documentation.
• Quality-check bookings, setting the bar for accuracy and tone.
• Manage supplier relationships, keeping communication warm and prompt.
• Partner with the founders on day-to-day operations as the team grows.
