Job summary

Jayne Peirce Travel Recruitment is assisting a fast-growing luxury travel DMC to fill the Head of Operations role. The position is home-based with optional London office days and a flexible hybrid pattern.

You will own end-to-end trip confirmations, build standard operating procedures, and manage supplier relationships while working closely with the founders. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in luxury travel operations, exceptional attention to detail, and superb written communication.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in operations within luxury travel (DMC or tour operator).
• DMC background is a bonus; strong tour operating experience welcome.
• Experience building or improving processes.
• Excellent written communication with warm, friendly tone.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Own trip confirmations end-to-end, coordinating amendments and cancellations across hotels, guides, chauffeurs and other suppliers.
• Build and standardise operating procedures, checklists and handover documentation.
• Quality-check bookings, setting the bar for accuracy and tone.
• Manage supplier relationships, keeping communication warm and prompt.
• Partner with the founders on day-to-day operations as the team grows.
