Job summary

Westin Par Recruitment Experts are seeking an experienced Head of Operations for an established SME in East Kent. You will lead across design, surveying, procurement, manufacturing, project management and installation, ensuring projects run to plan and remain commercially viable.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will manage Heads of Department, drive productivity, monitor P&L, and orchestrate resource planning to support growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Head of Operations or equivalent.
• Construction, manufacturing or engineering background essential.
• Strong knowledge of project delivery, installation and site operations.
• Experience managing managers or department heads.
• Commercially astute with experience of P&L, project margins and operational budgets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational performance across multiple live projects.
• Coordinate resources, labour and project programmes.
• Monitor P&L, project margins, budgets and labour utilization.
• Lead Heads of Department and ensure projects are resourced and delivered on programme.
• Drive improvements in productivity, quality and delivery.
• Support forecasting and business growth with the Managing Director.
