Head of New Business - B2B Acquisitions

We are recruiting for a Head of New Business to join our B2B Acquisitions team. This role involves leading the team to grow the business by acquiring new accounts and helping them reach trading thresholds.

Responsibilities

  1. Review the performance of all direct sales account managers through monthly 121s, set objectives, and provide performance feedback.
  2. Ensure team members receive appropriate training and development opportunities, including creating personal development plans to address skills gaps.
  3. Manage sales performance against budget, report on targets, and track potential opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal groups to drive sales across product lines.
  5. Lead proposals related to end-user requirements, tenders, and commercial agreements.
  6. Maintain a strong awareness of ethics, compliance, and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.

Role Requirements

  • Experience in B2B sales with an understanding of the distribution model.
  • Proven experience in managing, coaching, and leading a team.
