Job summary

Blaymires Recruitment Ltd in Dorset is recruiting a Head of Construction to lead new build projects from mobilisation through to client handover. You will ensure delivery on time, within budget and to high quality standards across multi-million-pound schemes.

Applicants should have a proven track record in commercial new build delivery, strong leadership, knowledge of JCT contracts, and familiarity with UK Building Regulations and CDM 2015.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering new build commercial projects.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Understanding of JCT contracts and procurement processes.
• Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and CDM 2015.

Responsibilities

• Lead mobilisation and delivery of multi-million-pound new build projects post-design approval.
• Develop delivery programmes, budgets and resource plans.
• Appoint and manage contractors, consultants and supply chain partners; negotiate contracts.
• Oversee site logistics, sequencing and safety compliance.
• Report progress to the Managing Director.
