Job summary

5 Star Recruitment is seeking a Head of Pre-Construction Delivery to lead the pre-construction phase of key UK projects from Sutton. You will ensure robust planning, design coordination, procurement and risk management, aligning customer requirements with company goals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction/Building Management or Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience in a similar Pre-Construction role within construction/Housing refurbishment.
• Strong understanding of the Pre-Construction phase, including design, procurement and planning.
• Excellent leadership and project management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Pre-Construction phase of projects, ensuring all activities are planned and executed efficiently.
• Liaise with key stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
• Manage the procurement process for all project-related items and services.
• Coordinate with the construction team to ensure project readiness.
• Implement risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
