Qualifikationen

• Ten years of mechanical engineering and product development experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design and development principles.
• Experience taking products from concept through prototype, testing and manufacture.

Aufgaben

• Own the Mechanical Engineering strategy and lead product delivery.
• Lead mechanical design from concept through production.
• Establish design standards and engineering practices.
• Provide leadership to the mechanical engineering team and allocate work.
• Review and approve designs, calculations, drawings and processes.
• Act as senior mechanical authority, collaborating with CTO.
• Mentor and develop the engineering and technician team.
• Set technical objectives and grow engineering capability.
• Identify future skills and resource needs.
• Recruit additional engineering/manufacturing capability as needed.
• Support customer discussions and product development.
