Job summary

Snozone Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Maintenance to lead the upkeep and performance of our UK leisure venue. You will ensure critical systems and the snow slope operate safely and efficiently, delivering an outstanding guest experience daily.

This hands-on, multi-skilled role requires strong electrical expertise, a proven ability to lead a team, manage suppliers, and develop a proactive maintenance strategy in a 7-day operation with rotating weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Qualifications include City & Guilds 2382 17th edition, 2393 Part P, 2365 Electrical installations or equivalent.
• Full driving license is required to operate across site and manage contractors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual planned and preventative maintenance plan for electrical and mechanical equipment on and off the slope.
• Conduct daily facility inspections and address guest-facing areas promptly with a 'no lights out' policy.
• Manage supplier relationships and contracts with a range of partners.
• Resolve maintenance issues promptly, scheduling guest-facing repairs at optimal times.
• Ensure supplier terms are followed and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist regulation of utilities (water, gas, electricity) management.
• Develop a predictive maintenance strategy to maintain service levels and control costs.
• Lead monthly team meetings and comply with Snozone People Guide.

We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Head of Maintenance to lead the upkeep and performance of one of the UK’s most unique and exciting leisure venues. From keeping critical systems running smoothly to ensuring every part of the slope and surrounding facilities operate at peak performance, you’ll play a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience every single day.

The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled and adaptable professional with a strong electrical background, a passion for high standards, and the ability to inspire confidence across the team. In return, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact in a venue that operates 7 days a week, with flexible working and weekend shifts shared on a rota basis.

Leading and working alongside our established maintenance team, you’ll bring a proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the technical expertise to tackle challenges head-on. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same — ideal for someone who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and keeping complex operations running safely and efficiently.

Duties will include:

• Building an annual plan of planned and preventative maintenance on a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment, on and off the snow slope.
• Performing daily inspections of the facilities and identify areas for improvement, immediately addressing guest facing areas with a 'no lights out' policy.
• Contributing to the management of our preferred supplier list and working effectively with a range of suppliers and contract management partners.
• Ensuring all maintenance issues are dealt with in a corrective and timely manner, considering the best times to conduct guest-facing repairs needed.
• Adhering to the terms and conditions stipulated by our suppliers and delivering constructive feedback to them as and when required.
• Assisting in the management and regulation of utilities regarding water, gas and electricity.
• Developing a PPM strategy to maintain service levels and avoid unexpected expenditure.
• Identifying best practice and implement improvements to ensure continuity
• Ensuring that health & safety maintenance issues are prioritised for the safety of our team and our guests.
• Holding monthly team meetings with direct reports and fully complying with the Snozone People Guide.

Qualifications:

• City & Guilds 2382 17th edition, 2393 Part P, 2365 Electrical installations or equivalent.
• Full driving license
