Harte Recruitment is working with a growing residential property business to recruit a hands-on Head of Lettings to lead its front-line lettings operation from its Darlington office.

You'll coach and develop staff, take commercial ownership of performance, win landlord instructions, and drive conversion to grow the managed portfolio. A strong leadership style and real team-building focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a lettings front-line team.
• Strong people-management and coaching skills.
• Solid knowledge of residential lettings and market.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front-line lettings team day-to-day.
• Manage, coach, train and develop staff.
• Take ownership of office lettings performance.
• Manage relets coming into the office.
• Drive conversion and performance against budget.
• Conduct listings and win new landlord instructions.
• Grow the managed portfolio.
• Create a proactive, supportive and accountable team environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve individual and team performance.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues responsible for new business and Property Management.
• Deliver sustainable revenue growth and consistently high service standards.
