Job summary

Residential Living Recruitment seeks a Lettings Manager to lead a busy team, overseeing lease-up of new developments and re-letting established portfolios. You will drive occupancy, maximise rental income and ensure excellent tenant and client service.

You will manage lettings professionals, enforce compliance, and collaborate with management to optimise marketing and process improvements. Ambition, leadership, and a strong knowledge of housing legislation are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential lettings
• Strong knowledge of lettings processes and housing legislation
• ARLA Level 3 qualification preferred
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
• Commercial mindset with a track record of driving performance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing lettings team in a fast-paced environment
• Drive leasing activity across new schemes and existing portfolios
• Maximise rental income and minimise void periods
• Oversee property marketing across all platforms to ensure compliance and effectiveness
• Negotiate tenancy terms and guide your team through the lettings process
• Ensure smooth tenancy progression from offer through to move-in
• Maintain strict compliance with lettings legislation and industry standards
• Monitor market trends and adapt strategies accordingly
• Produce reports and engage with stakeholders and clients
• Collaborate closely with property management and operations teams
• Conduct audits and continuously improve processes and performance
