Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Head of Future Training Technologies and Innovation. You will lead the transformation of learning across critical UK environments, shaping the Learning Technology Strategy and technology roadmap to align with business objectives.

You will identify AI-enabled learning solutions, evaluate platforms, and collaborate with senior leaders to drive investment decisions and improve learner outcomes across the Training Business Unit.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in learning technology, digital learning, or training systems.
• Experience translating requirements into technology solutions.
• Experience evaluating technology products and SaaS platforms.
• Understanding of training processes and how tech improves outcomes.
• Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Learning Technology Strategy and technology roadmap aligned to business objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and recommend learning technologies, AI solutions, and digital training platforms.
• Engage with suppliers, customers, and senior stakeholders to assess requirements and influence investment decisions.
• Lead technology implementation activities including business cases, procurement, testing, adoption, and benefits realisation.
• Monitor emerging technology trends and identify opportunities to improve learner experience, training outcomes, and business performance.
