Job summary

Ipsum seeks a Head of Learning and Development to shape a forward‑looking L&D strategy and build capability across the organisation. You will lead the L&D team and partner with senior stakeholders to embed learning solutions that drive growth and performance.

The role covers leadership development, apprenticeships and graduates, with responsibility for the LMS and funding opportunities. A strong track record in L&D leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading Learning & Development teams.
• Experience aligning learning initiatives with business objectives and driving organisational performance.
• Ability to design and deliver leadership, management, talent, apprenticeship or graduate development programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a group-wide Learning & Development strategy aligned to Ipsum's growth objectives, values and future capability needs.
• Partner with senior leaders, managers, HR, and Talent Acquisition to identify development needs and embed effective learning solutions.
• Design and implement leadership, management and high-potential talent development programmes to build organisational capability.
• Lead, coach and develop the L&D team, ensuring successful delivery of initiatives and a consistent learning experience.
• Oversee apprenticeship and graduate programmes, including onboarding, mentoring, assessments and funding opportunities.
• Manage and continuously improve the Learning Management System (LMS) and development frameworks.
