Job summary

BDO is seeking a senior leader to head Learning & Development, shaping strategy and delivering firmwide learning initiatives. The role initially focuses on the Audit learning curriculum, with scope to expand to other streams, reporting to the Director of L&D and partnering with central teams to align with strategic priorities.

Regular travel to London and other locations will be required, with agile working and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Manager, preferably with a Learning & Development background.
• Strong ability to shape L&D strategy and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
• Proven track record in delivering firmwide learning programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the L&D function, aligning with strategic objectives.
• Develop and maintain L&D curriculums (firmwide and streams).
• Manage budgets and governance, ensuring timely, quality delivery.
• Engage with regulators and ensure regulatory compliance where needed.
• Coach and develop teams, promoting continuous improvement and learning culture.
• Collaborate with central teams to identify needs and deliver effective responses.
