Hunter Bond seeks an experienced IT leader to drive a major transformation program on a global scale from Birmingham. You will oversee both in-house and outsourced delivery models, build internal capability, and run RFP processes to select vendors.

The role involves ongoing delivery management with offshore operations and requires high visibility and strategic impact across the organisation. Excellent stakeholder engagement is essential.

Job description

My leading client are looking for an experienced and capable individual to lead a large transformation project internationally. You'll run both in-house and outsourced models, developing the internal capability of the team and running RFP processes for vendor selection respectively.

Once vendors have been selected, you'll work on the subsequent ongoing delivery management with vendors with offshore operations.

This is a high visibility role with a large remit. A rare and highly sought after position!

The following skills / experience is essential:

• Previous experience in a Head of IT Infrastructure role, or similar.
• IT Infrastructure background, covering Data Centre and Network Operations.
• Infrastructure outsourcing, significant experience running RFP processes.

Rate: Up to £1,500/day

Duration: 2 years +

Location: Birmingham (good work from home options available)
