Job summary

Sagentia is seeking a Head of Instrument Flight Procedure (IFP) Design to lead the end-to-end IFP design pipeline, driving business performance from lead generation through bidding and delivery. This role acts as the focal point for the IFP capability, engaging internally and externally to grow the aviation practice.

With proven management experience, you will lead a team, expand the aviation network, and ensure high-quality revenue through delivery excellence and strong customer engagement.

Qualifications

• CAA Authorised Procedure Designer with APDO experience and up-to-date flight procedure regulations.
• Strong collaboration skills, able to harmonise team performance across boundaries.
• Demonstrable commercial experience in UK aviation sales, business development or operations management.
• Strategic thinker with ability to identify market opportunities and growth plans.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the complete IFP design pipeline aligned with business needs and forecast data.
• Own the overall technical capability, maintenance and strategic direction for IFP design.
• Ensure project management and delivery meet financial targets.
• Manage resources across bids and projects to achieve organizational goals.
• Plan maintenance and development of capability, manage direct reports and cross-team engagement.
