Job summary

Huxley in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, deliver and modernise enterprise infrastructure across data centre and Azure environments in a cloud-first hybrid setup.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, Security and Architecture teams to drive cloud adoption, infrastructure transformation, hybrid connectivity and automation, delivering resilient, secure and scalable solutions for a global investment management organisation.

Qualifications

• Extensive data centre engineering experience.
• Hands-on Azure design, deployment and support.
• Knowledge of networking, security, IAM and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing enterprise infrastructure solutions across data centre and Azure environments.
• Leading migration and transformation initiatives from on-premise infrastructure to hybrid cloud architectures.
• Building and managing secure hybrid connectivity between data centres and Microsoft Azure.
• Enhancing networking, security, identity and governance capabilities across the tech estate.
• Supporting infrastructure modernisation, automation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Developing technical designs, implementation plans and infrastructure roadmaps.
• Improving resilience, disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities.
