Genium Selection Ltd is seeking a Head of IT Infrastructure for a mid-sized global company. You will own and lead the global infrastructure roadmap, delivering a standardised, modernised IT platform spanning cloud, networks, servers and workplace tech.

Reporting to the CIO, you will manage the infrastructure team, oversee budget and contracts, ensure ITIL-compliant 3rd line support, and build senior stakeholder relationships to enable scalable growth.

• Solid background in IT Infrastructure engineering & management in a mid-sized company.
• Technical engagement in technology evaluation & selection to create the roadmap—cloud, networks, servers, workplace tech, Azure hybrid & MS 365.
• Delivered technology change through successful team leadership.
• Team development to create a high-performing team.
• Experience of ITIL and process-driven environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

• Develop and deliver the global IT infrastructure roadmap to standardise infrastructure for reliability and supportability as it moves to centralised / group IT.

Would you like to own & lead the IT Infrastructure for a mid-sized global company, including the roadmap, and deliver its modernisation & standardisation?

Head of IT Infrastructure opportunity, reporting to the CIO, to define and deliver the global Infrastructure Strategy – cloud, networks, servers and workplace tech – moving from legacy / regional to a modern & standardised IT Infrastructure to improve reliability & supportability.

Our client is market leading UK company, with global operations, designing, and manufacturing technology solutions. Innovation, customer focus and strategy ensure its long-standing success and continued growth.

Taking ownership of the global infrastructure roadmap, you’ll lead the infrastructure team to deliver standardised and modernised IT, where you will:

• Develop and deliver the global IT infrastructure roadmap to standardise infrastructure to improve reliability and supportability as it moves from site/ regional to centralised / group IT function.
• Lead & Develop the Infrastructure team to deliver the infrastructure projects successfully
• Own budget & contract management of all infrastructure including selection and negotiations
• Ensure 3rd line support delivery with a focus on ITIL ensuring business needs are met
• Build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate the adoption of change
• Ensure IT Infrastructure fits the needs of the business considering growth.

• A solid background in IT Infrastructure engineering & management with a mid-sized company
• Technical engaged in technology evaluation & selection to create the roadmap / technology selection - cloud, networks, servers, workplace tech, Azure hybrid & MS 365
• Successfully delivered technology change though successful team leadership
• Team development to create a high performing team
• Experience of ITIL
• Communication, negotiation and influencing expertise.

Salary: £90,000 - £100,000 + £7k car allowance + bonus + excellent comprehensive benefits package

Location: Bristol Hybrid – 2 / 3 days a week in the office
