Job summary

Genium Selection Ltd is seeking a Head of IT Infrastructure for a mid-sized global company. You will own and lead the global infrastructure roadmap, delivering a standardised, modernised IT platform spanning cloud, networks, servers and workplace tech.

Reporting to the CIO, you will manage the infrastructure team, oversee budget and contracts, ensure ITIL-compliant 3rd line support, and build senior stakeholder relationships to enable scalable growth.

Qualifications

• Solid background in IT Infrastructure engineering & management in a mid-sized company.
• Technical engagement in technology evaluation & selection to create the roadmap—cloud, networks, servers, workplace tech, Azure hybrid & MS 365.
• Delivered technology change through successful team leadership.
• Team development to create a high-performing team.
• Experience of ITIL and process-driven environments.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the global IT infrastructure roadmap to standardise infrastructure for reliability and supportability as it moves to centralised / group IT.
• Lead & develop the Infrastructure team to deliver infrastructure projects successfully.
• Own budget & contract management of all infrastructure, including selection and negotiations.
• Ensure 3rd line support delivery with a focus on ITIL.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to facilitate change adoption.
• Ensure IT Infrastructure aligns with business growth needs.
