Job summary

Laing O'Rourke seeks an Information Management Lead for the High Marnham Substation project to oversee project information, systems, and processes to enable efficient delivery.

You will lead the Information Management team, implement information standards, manage EDMS access, and support digital tools such as SharePoint, Teams, and Field View across the lifecycle. The role requires strong collaboration with engineering teams and delivery of training, ensuring ISO 19650/PAS 1192 compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience managing processes and resources.
• Knowledge of construction environments and project lifecycles.
• Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder skills.
• Experience with collaboration/EDM systems, ideally Asite.
• Understanding of ISO 19650/PAS 1192 and digital handover processes.
• Ability to lead, support, and develop team members.
• Be organised, structured, and focused.
• Confident leading others and communicating at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Information Management team and define team roles.
• Set and communicate project Information Standards and Methods & Procedures.
• Oversee the EDMS (e.g., Asite) and ensure secure, appropriate access.
• Coordinate project reporting and support digital tools, including Field View.
• Deliver training to project teams on information management systems.
• Support digital processes using SharePoint, Teams, and mobile platforms.
• Manage quality procedures and oversee project archiving throughout the lifecycle.
