Job summary

Laing O'Rourke are appointing an Information Management Lead for the High Marnham Substation project in the United Kingdom. You will oversee the Information Management function, define team roles, standards and procedures, and manage EDMS access (Asite) while supporting digital tools like Field View.

You will deliver training, coordinate reporting, and ensure lifecycle archiving and quality procedures, with a focus on ISO19650/PAS1192 and digital handover. Strong stakeholder skills are essential.

• Experience leading information management on construction/delivery projects.
• Knowledge of ISO19650/PAS1192 and digital handover processes.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Job description

This role oversees the Information Management function for the High Marnham Substation project, ensuring project information, systems, and processes are delivered to a high standard and support efficient project delivery.,

• Lead the Information Management team and define team roles.
• Set and communicate project Information Standards and Methods & Procedures.
• Oversee the EDMS (e.g., Asite) and ensure secure, appropriate access.
• Coordinate project reporting and support digital tools, including Field View.
• Deliver training to project teams on information management systems.
• Support digital processes using SharePoint, Teams, and mobile platforms.
• Manage quality procedures and oversee project archiving throughout the lifecycle.
  Experience managing processes and resources.
• Knowledge of construction environments and project lifecycles.
• Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder skills.
• Experience with collaboration/EDM systems, ideally Asite.
• Understanding of ISO19650/PAS1192 and digital handover processes.
• Ability to lead, support, and develop team members.
• Be organised, structured, and focused.
• Confident leading others and communicating at all levels.
