Job summary

Laing O’Rourke is seeking an Information Management lead for the Great Grid Partnership on the High Marnham Substation project. You will oversee project information systems, ensure standards, and support efficient delivery on-site.

You will manage EDMS like Asite, coordinate reporting, and train teams in information management practices, with a focus on ISO19650 and modern digital handover processes.

Qualifications

• Experience managing processes and resources.
• Knowledge of construction environments and project lifecycles.
• Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder skills.
• Experience with collaboration/EDM systems, ideally Asite.
• Understanding of ISO19650/PAS1192 and digital handover processes.
• Ability to lead, support, and develop team members.
• Be organised, structured, and focused.
• Confident leading others and communicating at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Information Management team and define team roles.
• Set and communicate project Information Standards and Methods & Procedures.
• Oversee the EDMS (e.g., Asite) and ensure secure, appropriate access.
• Coordinate project reporting and support digital tools, including Field View.
• Deliver training to project teams on information management systems.
• Support digital processes using SharePoint, Teams, and mobile platforms.
• Manage quality procedures and oversee project archiving throughout the lifecycle.
