Kenect Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a Head of Housekeeping to join a modern 92-bedroom hotel. You will lead a housekeeping team of 9, drive cleanliness standards, safety compliance and guest satisfaction across all areas.

In this pivotal role you will develop schedules, inspect rooms, coordinate with maintenance, train staff and foster a positive team culture while delivering efficient operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or similar cleaning roles.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet cleanliness standards.
• Develop work schedules, assign tasks, and monitor performance to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance staff to address repairs or issues affecting cleanliness or safety.
• Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
• Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and linens, ensuring cost-effective usage.

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead a housekeeping team of 9 (inc. Head role). In this vital role, you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction across all areas of the hotel.
