The Essex Golf and Country Club Limited is seeking a Head Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping team and maintain exceptional guest experiences at our Earls Colne location. You’ll schedule shifts, supervise cleaning standards, and coordinate with other departments for events to ensure a pristine environment.

The role demands supervision of staff, stock control, and proactive coordination of deep cleaning and safety checks to uphold our high standards of cleanliness.

Competenze

• Experience in club, resort or hospitality housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Ability to lead and develop a housekeeping team to high standards.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage the housekeeping team to ensure high cleanliness and guest comfort.
• Schedule shifts and assign tasks to cover opening hours (0600–2300) seven days a week.
• Inspect daily work and ensure supplies are stocked and in good condition.
• Manage lost and found items and coordinate deep cleaning activities.
• Report maintenance or repair needs and liaise with other departments for events.

The Role:

Are you passionate about maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and safety? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Head Housekeeper to lead our team and ensure an exceptional guest experience. In this key role, you'll supervise and plan the work of our housekeeping team, making sure that tasks are completed to the highest standards. You’ll be responsible for scheduling shifts, inspecting the team’s work, and ensuring we’re always stocked up on supplies. You’ll also take charge of lost and found items, reporting any maintenance or repair needs, and coordinating deep cleaning activities to keep the hotel pristine. You’ll collaborate with other departments for special events and regularly inspect facilities to maintain cleanliness, safety, and health standards. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact while working in a supportive and dynamic environment. You will be reporting to the Hotel Manager, contributing to the smooth day-to-day operations and ensuring every guest has a memorable stay.

Experience & Skills Required:

• Club, resort or other hospitality industry housekeeping experience, preferably in a supervisory role

Schedule:

• We operate a 7-days a week business, between 0600 to 2300
• Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours - weekends and bank holidays
