Wodensborough Ormiston Academy is seeking a proactive Head of History to shape the department and curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will drive high standards in teaching, learning and achievement while leading a team focused on improving student outcomes and critical thinking.

You will lead the development of an ambitious and engaging History curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, driving high standards of teaching, learning and achievement. We are a popular and oversubscribed 11-16 mainstream school with the additional expertise and facilities to include two focused SEND provisions for young people on the autistic spectrum, and for those who are deaf and hearing impaired (ARC and Deaf Academy). Our small and bespoke sixth form (WOA6) caters for students in Years 12 and 13 who have EHCPs.
