Job summary

CSP is seeking a Head of Business Development to drive growth across our core services, including event traffic management, security and parking. You will lead tender submissions, form strategic partnerships and oversee client relationships while working with the Senior Leadership Team to realise CSP’s strategic objectives.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on delivery, requires strong leadership, and offers hybrid working from our Head Office with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior business development or commercial leadership role.
• Experience within events, facilities management, security or related service industries.
• Track record of winning large tenders and negotiating complex contracts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to delivery.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver CSP's business development strategy and annual Business Development Plan (BDP).
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across event traffic management, security, stewarding and commercial parking services.
• Lead competitive tender processes and complex commercial negotiations.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities across public and private sector clients.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners and industry stakeholders.
• Represent CSP at industry events, conferences and networking opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and legislative developments.
• Lead and develop the Business Development and Commercial Parking teams.
• Manage budgets, forecasts and commercial performance targets.
• Drive a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
