Head of FP&A

  • Hybrid (2 days from home)
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Contract: Temp to Perm - our client is proposing that this role with temporary for 6 weeks with a view to then becoming permanent

We are seeking a Head of FP&A to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and analysis. This senior role offers strategic financial guidance to support decision‑making and performance, working closely with the senior leadership team. You will manage a team within a finance department of around 15 people, focusing on financial excellence and system improvements. This position provides excellent scope for career progression.

Day‑to‑day of the role
  • Deliver high-quality financial advisory services to budget holders.
  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial efficiency.
  • Optimise systems and processes within the finance function.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven experience in financial leadership and business partnering.
  • Strong analytical, communication and systems optimisation skills.
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills for exampleexperience with Power BI or similar
