Your Role:

The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the organisation, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, accounting, compliance, and risk management. This role serves as a strategic partner to senior leadership and plays a critical role in shaping the company’s financial strategy to ensure sustainable growth and profitability and reports to the CFO

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Responsible for the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts for the Envisics Group, providing in-depth analysis to guide executive decision-making
    
  • Analyse financial results, trends, and KPIs to inform business decisions.
  • Present financial reports to stakeholders, including the board and investors.
  • Manage financial operations, including tax and regulatory filings for entities in the UK, USA, and Germany
  • Oversight of all accounting activities and balance reconciliations, and in particular the accounting and reconciliation for all product inventory

• Accounting & Compliance
  • Ensure accurate accounting and compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
  • Lead internal and external audits.
  • Manage tax planning, filings, and relationships with regulatory bodies.
  • Lead tax compliance and R&D tax credit application process

• Cash Flow & Treasury Management
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and funding requirements.
  • Optimize the group's cash resources and manage liquidity and FX exposure

• Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as a key liaison with external partners including auditors, banks, and investors.

What we are looking for:

• • Qualified accountant with relevant commercial experience
  • Proven track record of working cross-border with multi-currency operations, and group consolidation
  • Experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment with complex international supply chains. (Or similar)
  • Strong technical accounting skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, adept at engaging with all levels of the organization and able to thrive in a dynamic workplace
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing and developing small finance teams
  • Superior organizational and prioritization skills, with a talent for meeting deadlines
  • Advanced data analysis capabilities and expert-level Excel proficiency
  • Knowledge of, and comfortable operating with, different software solutions
  • US GAAP accounting/US tax experience is a plus
