Job summary

Your Trust in Rochdale is seeking a General Manager - Events and Programming to lead the development, delivery and growth of the Events and Entertainment Team across Your Trust venues. This role provides operational leadership, oversees programming, technical production and box office operations to maximise income, audience engagement and community impact.

The position requires extensive senior events experience, strong budgeting skills and the ability to manage multiple sites and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or by experience.
• Extensive senior events or entertainment experience.
• Proven venue management across entertainment venues.
• Experience leading teams across multiple sites.
• Strong partnerships with internal and external organisations.
• Budgeting and operations management under tight financial constraints.
• Ability to deliver a full events programme across venues.
• Knowledge of the music and events industry including deal negotiation.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
