Job summary

Your Trust in Rochdale is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of events and activities at Middleton Arena, Heywood Civic Centre and other sites.

You will manage staff, uphold health and safety standards and provide excellent customer service as the public face of the events operation. Qualifications include Level 3 in event management or equivalent, ability to work under pressure and relate to diverse audiences. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 in event management, customer service or qualified by experience.
• Experience working closely with promoters and artists.
• Experience of managing and providing direction to staff.
• Commercial awareness of performing arts and entertainment opportunities.
• Demonstrate an ability to handle sensitive situations sympathetically and ensure confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety issues and regulations that apply to facility management.
• Ability to relate to all people including establishing relationships and trust, working as part of a team and working under pressure.
• Ability to provide clear instruction, set targets, motivate and inspire staff to achieve targets.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills.

What will my role be as a Front of House Manager?

The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of the Venues. This includes using your excellent customer service skills to be the public face of the Events and Entertainment operation at Middleton Arena, Heywood Civic Centre and other sites as required by leading the day to day delivery of events and activities, providing line management to staff, ensuring regular and effective communication across the Team as well as ensuring exceptional customer service and health and safety standards.
