Your Trust in Heywood is seeking a Front of House Manager to lead the customer-facing operations across Middleton Arena and Heywood Civic Centre. The role focuses on delivering high-quality service, coordinating events, and guiding a team to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.

The position requires Level 3 qualification in event management or equivalent, strong staff leadership, and a proactive approach to health and safety. Part-time hours and pro-rata pay apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified to Level 3 in event management or customer service or qualified by experience.
• Experience of working closely with promoters and artists.
• Experience of managing and directing staff.
• Commercial awareness of performing arts and entertainment opportunities.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations sympathetically and maintain confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of Health and Safety issues and facility management regulations.
• Ability to relate to all people and work well in a team under pressure.
• Clear instruction, target setting, and ability to motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of events and activities at Middleton Arena and Heywood Civic Centre.

What will my role be as a Front of House Manager?

The purpose of the job is to provide a professional, efficient and high quality service to customers of the Venues. This includes using your excellent customer service skills to be the public face of the Events and Entertainment operation at Middleton Arena, Heywood Civic Centre and other sites as required by leading the day to day delivery of events and activities, providing line management to staff, ensuring regular and effective communication across the Team as well as ensuring exceptional customer service and health and safety standards.

• - Demonstrate an ability to handle sensitive situations sympathetically and ensure confidentiality
• - Working knowledge of Health and Safety issues and regulations that apply to facility management
• - Ability to relate to all people including establishing relationships and trust, working as part of a team and working under pressure
• - Ability to provide clear instruction, set targets, motivate and inspire staff to achieve targets
• - Strong organisation skills with the ability to work to deadlines whilst ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• - Excellent communication; both oral and written and excellent interpersonal skills
