Job Title: Head of Estates Engineering Services

Salary: Up to £88,000 per annum with excellent benefits

Location: Shrewsbury, United Kingdom

Job Overview

Lead the strategic direction of all engineering services, fostering a culture of exceptional service delivery to enhance the visitor experience at the Royal Ballet & Opera estate, which includes multiple historic and modern sites.

Key Responsibilities

1. Oversee engineering services across all sites, including building and fabric maintenance, utilities, installation, and capital works projects.
2. Provide professional guidance on energy-saving and carbon reduction initiatives.
3. Lead and develop teams, ensuring stakeholder engagement and operational excellence.
4. Manage complex estate facilities supporting a busy production schedule and diverse staff and artists.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience leading engineering services in a large, live operational estate.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills.
• Proactive and engaging approach to management.
