Job Title: Head of Estates Engineering Services

Salary: To £88,000 per annum with excellent benefits package

Location: Chester, United Kingdom

Job Description:

Lead the strategic direction of all aspects of engineering services, creating a culture of exceptional service delivery focused on enhancing the visitor experience.

The estate of the Royal Ballet & Opera comprises three sites: the main site in Covent Garden, a production workshop and costume centre in Thurrock, Essex, and a large storage facility in Aberdare, Wales. These facilities support a complex production schedule and serve thousands of staff, artists, and creative personnel.

The Head of Estates Engineering Services will oversee strategic planning and delivery of engineering services across all sites, including building and fabric maintenance, utilities, installation, capital works, energy-saving, and carbon reduction projects.

We seek an individual with proven experience in leading engineering services within a comparable, live operational estate. The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills, with a proactive and engaging approach.
