We are seeking a Head of Estates Engineering Services to lead the strategic direction of engineering services across the Royal Ballet & Opera estate, which includes multiple historic and modern sites. The role involves overseeing building and fabric maintenance, utilities, installation, capital works, energy-saving, and carbon reduction projects.
The estate comprises the main Covent Garden site, including a historic theatre, rehearsal rooms, dressing rooms, workshops, and ancillary spaces. Additional facilities include a production workshop, costume centre, and storage in Thurrock and Aberdare. The organization supports a busy production schedule with thousands of staff, artists, and creatives.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in leading engineering services within a comparable operational estate, along with strong stakeholder engagement and team leadership skills. The role requires a proactive and engaging approach.
