Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Head of Enterprise Digital Engineering to drive the strategy, product direction and engineering of enterprise platforms that empower teams to build and deploy medicines faster and more safely. You will lead a broad portfolio spanning cloud, data, AI, APIs and developer experience, unifying platforms as products with measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

Significant senior leadership experience across digital platforms and enterprise technology products.
Proven ability to build, scale and operate shared technology platforms in large, complex organisations.
Experience enabling product and engineering teams through reusable platforms and self-service capabilities.
Degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related field.

Responsibilities

Define and execute an enterprise platform strategy aligned to business priorities and roadmaps.
Establish a product-led approach for platform development and service delivery across teams.
Build and evolve platforms to accelerate delivery and improve developer experience; promote API-first, automation and reusable services.
Lead forward deployment engineering, AI enablement and secure, scalable platform operations.
Drive adoption, measure value and manage relationships with cloud, AI and technology partners.
