Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection seeks an Engineering Manager to own and shape the engineering function, lead a team of six engineers, and influence the company’s technical direction. You’ll work closely with the Managing Director, balancing hands-on design with strategic leadership across electronics, design and manufacturing support.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of engineering teams.
• Strong background in electronics design or R&D.
• Experience interfacing with customers and senior management.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineers across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering function including R&D, electronic design, FPGA development and production engineering.
• Engage with customers at all stages of product development.
• Provide technical guidance to manufacturing to ensure smooth design-to-production transitions (DFM).
• Ensure adherence to relevant quality standards (IPC610, AS9100, ISO13485).
• Lead from the front, solve problems while remaining hands-on.
