Job summary

WPP is seeking a senior, product-minded engineering leader to drive delivery for our commerce product area and to lead AI integration into the SDLC. You will guide the roadmap, translate priorities into reliable engineering outcomes, and lead teams across multiple domains to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will shape data-aware system design and integration strategies, ensuring production readiness and scalability within a hybrid, global environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven experience delivering complex, operational systems at scale.
• Strong experience with APIs, distributed systems, and integrations.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled product features into production, including LLMs and AI services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data warehouses and lakehouse platforms.
• Demonstrated leadership across multi-team environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead engineering teams focused on commerce platforms and AI-driven SDLC practices.
• Partner with Product, Design, Commercial and Delivery to align roadmaps and translate requirements to technical outcomes.
• Drive end-to-end delivery with accountable ownership from discovery to production.
• Ensure systems are reliable, scalable and perform under real-world conditions.
